The customer will be able to keep the item with no need to ship it back to you. We will show this resolution only if it makes sense for your store, and to your customers who do not show any sign of return abuse based on their history and behaviors.
We consider the item cost, reverse logistics cost, shipping, margins, the ability to sell the product after restocking etc. Our technology knows how to balance the risk of abusing this solution by considering the customer experience, retention, and average order value. In other words, we optimize your store for maximum profit resulting from returns.
You will be able to see in the Analytics page the pure profit and effect of using this resolution on your dashboard.
We recommended to use this resolution as is, and let our algorithm do the work, however you can also customize its settings if desired. For example, you can decide to not offer more than 80% of the original item price for this resolution, or decide to not show it more than once per order. You will be able to see all resolutions given to your customers on the Sessions and Analytics pages on your dashboard, along with statistics on their performance.
