RESOLUTIONS OVERVIEW

A resolution defines the action you can take to process and resolve return requests from your customers.

You can manage your resolutions via Settings > Resolutions.

Using ReturnGO, you can provide your customers with the following return policy actions.


Exchange

ReturnGO currently support two types of exchanges:

  • Variant Exchange
    This is a self-service variant exchange resolution.
    Your customers can request to exchange the original item they purchased to a variant of the item.
  • Manual Exchange
    This is a customer support-assisted exchange.
    Your customers write to you what variant they want to exchange with the original item.
  • Product Exchange
    This is a self-service product exchange resolution.
    Your customers can request to exchange the original item they purchased to any other item from your store’s catalog.


Returns

We currently support  two types of return resolutions:

    • Standard return policy
      This type supports the following types of refunds:
      • Refund to payment method - same as when done directly in Shopify
      • Refund by store credit - ReturnGO’s discount-based store credit solution
      • Refund to bank account - offer refund by bank transfer, get a refund suggestion, and document it in the RMA
      • Refund by new gift card - offer gift cards
  • Instant credit resolutions based on ReturnGO’s ReturnScore AI
    ReturnScore is an AI-based refund offering system.
    The AI will offer customers Store Credit refunds based on the customer’s history and your configurations.
    Customers who will choose these resolutions will be immediately issued the offered refund, which will improve customer satisfaction, retention, and average order value.
  • Ship it later 
  • Keep the item
  • Donate the item

Cancel Order

Allows canceling unfulfilled orders, with the option to issue the refund automatically.
